SLE Prevalence Jumped 60% in a Decade in US
Key clinical point: There are confounders, but there has also likely been an actual increase in SLE cases in the United States.
Major finding: The prevalence of systemic lupus erythematosus in the United States increased 6% a year during 2001-2011, for a cumulative increase of 59.4%.
