Routine Lung Disease Screening in Systemic Sclerosis

Key clinical point: An expert panel has agreed on a set of recommendations for managing interstitial lung disease (ILD) in systemic sclerosis.

Major finding: Of more than 50 recommendation statements reached in six domains, routine screening for ILD is considered the most important.

Data source: An expert consensus panel of 27 rheumatologists, pulmonologists, and others with experience in this field considered 95 potential statements.
