Ovarian cancer survivors carry burden of severe long-term fatigue

Key clinical point: Women who have survived epithelial ovarian cancer are at greater risk of severe long-term fatigue than healthy women.

Major finding: Severe long-term fatigue was reported by 26% of ovarian cancer survivors, compared with 13% of healthy women (P = .0004).

Study details: A case-control study involving 318 epithelial ovarian cancer survivors and 318 age-matched healthy women.
