Racial, Ethnic Minorities Less Likely to Use Sun Protective Behaviors
Key clinical point: Racial and ethnic minorities are less likely to use sun protective behaviors than are white people.
Major finding: Non-Hispanic black, non-Hispanic Asian, and Hispanic adults were less likely to use sunscreen than were non-Hispanic white adults (adjusted odds ratio [aOR], 0.43, 0.54, and 0.70, respectively).
Study details: Multivariable logistic regression analysis of 8,952 survey respondents.
