Which patients are most likely to have a positive RNS test for myasthenia gravis?
Key clinical point: Seropositivity, Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America (MGFA) Class III or higher, and inpatient testing are associated with positive repetitive nerve stimulation findings for myasthenia gravis.
Major finding: Of 65 patients, 32 were in MGFA Class I, 14 were in MGFA Class IIa, 13 were in MGFA Class IIb, and 6 were in MGFA Classes IIIa through V.
Study details: A retrospective review of 65 patients with suspected myasthenia gravis.
