Health Insurance Rates Among Cancer Survivors Increased After ACA

Key clinical point: Implementation of the ACA is associated with increased health insurance rates among cancer survivors.

Major finding: The rate of noninsurance among cancer survivors decreased from 10.6% before ACA to 6.2% after its implementation.

Study details: Analysis of National Health Interview Survey data from 17,806 survey participants who reported a cancer diagnosis.
