Short-course azithromycin no benefit in pediatric asthma admissions
Key clinical point: A 3-day course of azithromycin for children hospitalized with asthma does not shorten length of stay or bring other benefits.
Major finding: LOS was 1.86 days in the placebo arm, and 1.69 days in the azithromycin group (P = .23).
