Red hair in women linked to elevated CRP levels in Nurses’ Health Study
Key clinical point: On average, women with natural red hair had elevated CRP levels compared with women with nonred hair, according to data from the Nurses’ Health Study.
Major finding: Women with nonred hair had CRP levels from 10.9% to 14.1% lower than women with red hair in multivariate analysis.
