Diabetes Information Toolkit

The American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations (AAPPO) has launched an online informational toolkit to help PPO executives encourage high-quality diabetes care and diabetes prevention efforts. The toolkit, a collaborative effort with DMAA: the Care Continuum Alliance, features links to free evidence-based guidance from several national organizations and is available on the ACT on Diabetes Web site,

Free Diabetes Pocket Guide

The National Diabetes Education Program is offering Diabetes Numbers At-a-Glance (for nonpregnant adults). This reference card provides a list of current recommendations to diagnose and treat prediabetes and diabetes, treatment goals based on American Diabetes Association recommendations, and a diabetes management schedule. To order the guide, call 888-693-6337; a single copy is free, and each additional package of 25 costs $5.
