Warfarin Gene Tests Described


 

The American Medical Association has issued the brochure “Personalized Health Care Report 2008: Warfarin and Genetic Testing,” which outlines the gene variations that affect warfarin metabolism and response, and describes the genetic tests available to determine whether a patient carries such gene variations.
