AAP Consolidates Resources for Primary Care Providers

The American Academy of Pediatrics has consolidated several resources for pediatric primary care providers regarding actions to promote comprehensive care through medical homes for children born with very rare inherited disorders diagnosed through newborn screening. By knowing more about very rare disorders and the advantages of establishing medical home measures, AAP said, the primary care physician can work with the child and family to develop a comprehensive plan of care.
