The ContourLift™ is a minimally invasive cosmetic lifting procedure that uses barbed sutures threaded through the soft tissues of the face and neck along surgeon-determined vectors. The sutures are then fixed to an anchoring point to produce elevation of ptotic tissue that is sustained in most patients for at least 12 months. Five common procedures, including elevation of the brow, mid face, jowl, lower face, and neck, are reviewed, and the benefits and limitations of this novel technique are discussed.
